I’m Sally Zhang.

As a Strategist at Part and Sum, I help clients identify growth opportunities by seeing through the eyes of their customers and developing actionable insights.

About Sally

Over the past 4+ years, Sally has worked with various clients and companies, including Subway, TIDAL, IMAX, McGraw Hill, WeWork, Google, Walmart, Pizza Hut, and Philips. Her approach to work involves conducting thorough research, developing innovative strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute projects. She’s worked on projects ranging from brand awareness campaigns to digital product development and has helped clients achieve a range of business goals.

During her first year out of grad school, she knocked on the door of her dream company and pitched a strategy to the SVP of Growth, who ended up creating a job for her on the spot. Since then, Sally’s achievements include leading successful growth campaigns, managing global brand awareness campaigns, and developing innovative tactics to strengthen connections between clients and their communities.

Raised by two inspiring Chinese parents who always encouraged her to dream big and stay true to her beliefs, she’s never been afraid to follow her heart. Despite facing a sea of "no's,” she pursued her master's degree and settled in the U.S. as a proud first-generation immigrant. She currently lives in a small New York City apartment with her three beloved cats.

When we’re not collaborating…

• I’m a huge fan of all things retro - from classic films to vintage clothes, and I’ve recently been interested in ‘90s digital cameras.
• I’m pretty good at cooking any Asian food. I rely on my intuition and taste buds rather than strict measurements.
• I used to be a digital nomad and traveled much like a local. Airbnb has been a game changer and is one of favorite brand’s in the world. I believe traveling is one of the best investments one can make.
