The latest from P+S

Two new posts made their way to our Part and Sum Operating System this week.

1. When working together on client accounts, our primary goal is to strike the right balance between autonomy and support.  We use Account Reviews as a way to structure our internal communication, drive collaboration, and provide avenues for feedback and assistance across our team.
2. Sr. Strategy Consultant Jordan Pennino recently shared a product review of Gumball Demo Review, a self-serve marketplace for brands to purchase host-read podcast ads. Small businesses may find the most value in using Gumball to affordably find new customers (83% of Gen Z listeners say their favorite podcasters feel like friends).

We’re also celebrating the arrival of Leila Wu  and ‣, our newest strategists at Part and Sum. In addition to bringing their obvious talents to the team, we figure that K-Pop DJ lessons and a few more mischievous cats couldn’t hurt (too much).

Amazon reports loss as online sales falter (BBC). After years of pandemic success, Amazon’s e-commerce sales dropped by 3% this quarter, caught by surprise as buyers re-enter the world of physical retail.

Pandemic paradigm shift: employees now spend 36% less time on strategy (Asana). We know that working from home can negatively affect the type of work we focus on. While this statistic may be surprising to some, it makes sense that the hardest and most collaborative work would take a hit (and we can help with that).
